# Ai Sẽ Là Những Người Kế Tiếp (Who Will Be Next), leaflet ATF-004-70

Small two-sided leaflet. One side is a headline and a boxed text asking NVA and VC soldiers why they continue the war and telling them they will be the next to fall in Phuoc Tuy Province. The other side shows eight gravestones labelled by month, January to August, with counts (113, 105, 51, 87, 88) and question marks for the months to come. The tell: a running tally of dead is used to cast the reader as the next entry.

Who Will Be the Next

To the North Vietnamese cadres and soldiers and the VC.
Why do you still continue this senseless fight. This year very many of your comrades have already fallen in Phuoc Tuy Province. You will be the next ones!

Both sides read from the AWM scans. The AWM identification strips ('AUSTRALIAN WAR MEMORIAL' and the accession number) at the foot of each scan are part of the scan and are omitted. The hosted image places the two sides of the leaflet one above the other (or side by side), joined by FRAME from AWM's two scans of the same object. Translation is FRAME's own literal rendering, machine-assisted and not verified by a fluent reader; AWM's English translation was consulted.
