# Winox anti-German poster stamps: Zeppelin, Edith Cavell, "Kultur", Lusitania (Britain, 1915)

A block of four British poster stamps from 1915: "The Zeppelin Triumph" (a child asks whether Mother had done wrong), "Remember Edith Cavell, murdered October 12th 1915" over a firing-squad scene, "'Kultur' has passed here" and "Remember Lusitania, torpedoed 7th May 1915". The charge sits in the captions: 'murdered' and a scare-quoted 'Kultur' are the labels, on labels meant to be stuck to ordinary letters.
