# World Pictorial News poster, No. 46: Urdu edition (Urdu poster distributed in Karachi)

An Urdu-language pictorial news sheet dated 15 February 1957, with a yellow masthead. It carries the same seven photographs as the Sindhi edition: a U.S. Antarctic expedition, a drawing of a Hungarian mother with a dead child, a Pakistani squash champion, a speech on Pakistan's food and farming problems, and U.S. relief goods unloaded at Alexandria for Egypt. The tell is card-stacking: U.S. science, relief and the Hungarian drawing are chosen and captioned for a Pakistani audience.
