# Dove stabbed by a hammer and sickle

A landscape poster in white, red and black shows a white dove carrying an olive branch with the blade of a large red hammer and sickle driven into its back. Red drops fall from the wound and form a star below. The tell is the transfer of stigma: the Soviet emblem is placed on the attacker and the peace symbol is cast as its victim, so the picture asserts a link between calls for peace and Communist aims. The only text is the distributor line.
