The National Park Service of the U.S. Department of the Interior issued this poster, dated about 1938 by the Library of Congress and designed by C. Don Powell of the WPA. Old Faithful erupts in white against a blue sky, with 'Ranger Naturalist Service: nature walks, field trips, camp fire programs, nature talks' above the park's name. It invites visitors to use the programs on offer. Glittering generalities is the tagged technique, as the geyser is the draw and the wording stays general.
