# You're the man, Jones, who said car pooling wouldn't work! (undated, c. 1942-1945, OWI)

Undated: NARA gives no date; c. 1942-1945 from the OWI series. Nine smiling men and women crowd into one open convertible driving away from a factory, with a second full car visible in the distance. The caption (NARA title) addresses a skeptic named Jones, presenting the crowded, cheerful car as proof that sharing rides works, which implies that others are already doing it.
