Content note: Photograph of Croatian wartime recruitment posters, one with a red cross and figure motif, shown as displayed. This object is shown as it was published. Why
Croatian war posters on display, including 'Hrvatska vas zove!' and 'Ne gledaj, pomozi' (Croatian History Museum, Zagreb, exhibit of 2012)
Photograph of four framed Croatian war posters on a camouflage-pattern wall. They read 'HRVATSKA VAS ZOVE! / CROATIA NEEDS YOU NOW!' over two soldiers in a bright field, 'PAKRAC-LIPIK ne gledaj-pomozi / don't watch-help CROATIA' over a red cross-and-figure motif, '56. samostalna bojna H.V. Kutina' with a drawing of a soldier and a church tower, and a black-and-white soldier portrait headed 'ZA HRVATSKO KAO TIGAR'. The tells are the direct address to the viewer, the country's name as the caller, and the English text on two posters, which aims part of the appeal abroad.

HRVATSKA VAS ZOVE! CROATIA NEEDS YOU NOW! PAKRAC-LIPIK ne gledaj-pomozi don't watch-help CROATIA MOSLAVINA 56. SAMOSTALNA BOJNA H.V. KUTINA ZA HRVATSKO KAO TIGAR [other posters at the left and foot of the frame partly out of view or illegible]
Croatian text only: CROATIA CALLS YOU! / Don't watch - help / 56th Independent Battalion, Croatian Army, Kutina / For Croatia like a tiger. (English text on the posters is as printed. Literal translation by Claude, not verified by a fluent reader.)
Read from a 960 px photograph at an angle with glare; the top-left poster's wording is the least certain reading ('HRVATSKO' as seen), and fragments of a poster at left are not transcribed.
