La paz según el Perú – La paz según los chilenos (Peace According to Peru, Peace According to the Chileans)
A Lima woodcut splits 'peace' in two: on the left a Peruvian soldier with a flag stands by a cannon and shot, on the right a Chilean soldier in a boat marked ENCALADA unrolls a long scroll headed by squadron, cannons, rifles, powder, saltpetre, guano, gold and silver. The tell is the enumerated list, which presents the opposing side's peace terms as nothing but a catalogue of seizures.

The scroll's last visible word begins 'Co' and the words past it are too small to read at the hosted size. The literal meaning of 'banquillo' is 'little bench' (also the defendant's bench); the masthead is the periodical's title.
