Carpenter tools poster, sheet A (Lao poster distributed in Vientiane)
A Lao-language instructional poster headed with the name of carpenter's tools. Four rows of circular vignettes each pair a hand using a tool with a labelled drawing of the tool: hammer, try square, hatchet, spirit level, hand drill, hand saw, frame saw and plane. Figures are drawn as working craftsmen. No slogan, sponsor or imprint is printed. The tell is plain-folks: ordinary tradesmen are shown doing the work, and the poster promotes tool knowledge and use only.
