Committee for the Defense of the Revolution, Zona 18, Old Havana: doorway, 2012
Doorway in Old Havana with hand-painted lettering 'C.D.R. #1 Zona # 18 H. Vieja' above a small emblem, and a yellow notice of public hours above the door. The tell: the block's office carries the name of the organisation announced on 28 September 1960, in which defending 'the Revolution' and keeping watch on the neighbours are one civic task.
