Do Your Duty. Join the U.S. Marines. Help Them Defend America on Land and Sea
A black and white poster shows sailors or Marines hauling a shell toward a deck gun while another crew member works the breech, under the headline 'DO YOUR DUTY'. The appeal rests on the abstract word 'duty' and on joining a named corps, with a New York street address as the only practical instruction.
