Die rote Fahne, Nr. 1, 9 November 1918: "Berlin unter der roten Fahne"
Front page headed "Berlin unter der roten Fahne" (Berlin under the red flag), with a deck on the storming of police headquarters and red flags at the palace. The tells: the headline puts a whole city under one banner while the text says councils held key sites, and the masthead keeps the occupied Lokal-Anzeiger's name, "2. Abend-Ausgabe" and Scherl imprint.
