'Síla KSČ je v lidu': Communist Party pre-election photomontage leaflet, 1946
A landscape photomontage leaflet in black, white and sepia: a dense crowd, a flag with a star, a 1 May march and newspaper strips, framed by two mirrored slogans. The top reads 'The strength of the KSČ is in the people / We are with the nation'; the bottom reads 'The strength of the people is in the KSČ / The nation is with us'. Figures such as '120,000 participants' and '200,000 organised members' are overprinted on the pictures. The tell is the crowd-and-numbers montage plus the interchangeable slogans.
