Czechoslovakia Lives

A numbered sheet (no. 1) with a black-and-white map of the Czechoslovak Republic with industry symbols, a locator map of Europe, photographs of three girls in folk dress and a modern building, and a short text. The tell for glittering-generalities is the text's 'industrious and progressive people whose achievements ... are remarkable' and the claim that the pictures show Czechoslovakia 'as it was and will be again'.

CZECHOSLOVAKIA LIVES
These pictures try to introduce Czechoslovakia as it was and will be again.
Czechoslovakia ranks eighth in population among the European nations. Her area and population are equal to those of the State of New York and Connecticut combined. Her location in Central Europe places her in a position of utmost strategical importance. This position is enhanced by her industry, the work of this industrious and progressive people whose achievements in the first twenty years of independence are remarkable.
