Grand National Democratic banner. Peace! Union! and victory!
Currier & Ives hand-coloured lithograph banner for McClellan and Pendleton: bust portraits in oak-leaf roundels with clasped hands below, flags, a 'Temple of Liberty' and eagle above, and a harbour vignette with factories, a locomotive and a hay-wain below. Titled 'Peace! Union! and victory!'. LOC notes it is almost identical to the same firm's Lincoln-Johnson banner apart from the portraits, two extra flags and the vignette.
