Home Canning: Vegetables, Into the Pressure Canner
Instruction chart numbered 16 in a home-canning series, headed 'Home Canning Vegetables Into the Pressure Canner': photographs of jars on a rack, a closed canner with gauge and clock, a hand shutting the pet cock and a hand turning off a stove knob, with the line 'Keep pressure steady'. The technique is faint: household equipment and plain steps frame the task as routine (plain-folks).
