Stage slogan at the MSZMP national conference, Budapest: "A párt vezetésével, [de]mokrácia és a reformok útján a szocializmusért!"
Four men talk at a long red-covered table in a conference hall, below a wall slogan in white block letters: 'With the party's leadership, [de]mocracy and reform, for socialism!' A red star on a ribbon in red, white and green sweeps across the wall. The slogan strings virtue words (democracy, reform, socialism) and fixes them to the party's leadership; the star set into the national tricolour ribbon pastes the party's emblem onto the national colours.

Text on the object
A párt vezetésével, [de?]krácia és a reformok útján a szocializmusért!
With the party's leadership, [demo]cracy and [the path of] reforms, for socialism!
Read from an enlarged crop. The first letters of the second line are cut off by the frame; the visible text starts at 'krácia', and the full word is inferred as 'demokrácia'. Literal word order: 'With the party's leadership, democracy and the reforms' road, for socialism!'.
