Kaoem Boeroeh dan Kaoem-Tani dari segala Bangsa dan Agama Bersatoelah!!! (Workers and Peasants of All Nations and Religions, Unite!!!)
A hand-drawn poster in a ruled border calls on 'workers and peasants of all nations and religions' to unite. Two farmers in conical hats stand among produce in the lower left; a train, a ship, a lorry, aircraft, factory chimneys and a fortified gate fill the rest, under the Indonesian flag and a second flag bearing a star. It is signed 'Oleh Marhaen' (by Marhaen). The tells: the signature takes the name of the common smallholder as the speaker (plain folks), and 'all nations and religions, unite' carries the appeal without any stated programme (glittering generalities).
