Republic of Korea 28th Regiment Welcomes Hoi Chanh
A Chieu Hoi poster (code SP-1567) reports that on 8 November 1966 the Republic of Korea's 28th Regiment received 17 Viet Cong fighters who rallied, and shows three photographs of the group, a rallier reading a statement at a microphone and a Vietnamese provincial chief shaking hands over a bicycle given as a gift. The closing slogan sets 'the way of life' against 'the way of death'. The tell is a group count and gifts shown as the reward for rallying, paired with a stark life-or-death choice.
