Phù-hiệu này có nghĩa gì? / Ý nghĩa Chiêu-Hồi (What Does This Emblem Mean? / The Meaning of Chieu Hoi), leaflet ATF-079-71

Two-sided leaflet. One side asks 'What does this emblem mean?' beneath three Chieu Hoi emblems in an ornamental border; the other, in red, explains that each province has a Chieu Hoi office, says those 'forced or deceived' into Viet Cong or North Vietnamese ranks should return to their families so all may live in peace, and calls it shameful to see compatriots killing each other. The tell: peace, family and national unity are the stated terms, and the reader's service is described as coerced.

THE MEANING OF CHIEU-HOI
The Chieu Hoi policy was set out by the Government of the Republic of Vietnam; in it every province has a Chieu Hoi Office, several Chieu Hoi Branches and subordinate units at village level.
The Government of the Republic of Vietnam wants those who, because they were forced or deceived, are fighting in the Viet Cong ranks or in the North Vietnamese army to return to their families so that everyone can live in peace.
It is shameful to see compatriots in one country killing one another.
Rally with the Vietnamese or Allied forces; you will be received kindly.

Both sides read from the AWM scans. The AWM identification strips ('AUSTRALIAN WAR MEMORIAL' and the accession number) at the foot of each scan are part of the scan and are omitted. The hosted image places the two sides of the leaflet one above the other (or side by side), joined by FRAME from AWM's two scans of the same object. Translation is FRAME's own literal rendering, machine-assisted and not verified by a fluent reader; AWM's English translation was consulted.
