Our son is in the US Coast Guard
Small card in red, white and blue with the headline 'Our Son Is in the US Coast Guard', a shield with stripes behind the words 'US' and 'Coast Guard', and tricolour bars along the foot. It reads as a home display card in which a family states a relative's service. The family voice ('our son') is the plain-folks device; the shield transfers the service's emblem onto the household.
