"He'll give thanks every day if you back him up 100%!" [Incentive to buy war bonds], 1943 US cartoon: Undated

"He'll give thanks every day if you back him up 100%!" [Incentive to buy war bonds] (undated, c. 1942-1945, OWI)

Undated: NARA gives no date; c. 1942-1945 from the OWI series. Three Black civilians, one with a pitchfork, one in work clothes, one with a wrench, hold up a sheet marked 'War Bonds' toward a Black soldier who waves from a hill with a rifle and explosion behind him. The tell is identity-fusion with a weak fit: civilians and soldier are drawn as one community, and bond buying is framed as personal support for the man at the front.
