KOREAN INFANTRY REGIMENT COMES TO PHU YEN TO HELP THE PEOPLE DEFEAT THE VIET CONG Last September the 28th Korean Infantry Regiment (of the renowned Korean 9th 'White Horse' Division) came to Phu Yen to cooperate with the forces of the Republic of Vietnam and the United States in the anti-communist fight. An important task of the regiment is to keep order and help the people during the rice harvest against the Viet Cong's rice-robbing actions.
