Taking Over

A top-hatted animal in a coat labelled MINK, carrying a cane and a tag reading 'I can get it for you wholesale', tells a startled donkey at a lectern that it is the new party symbol. The donkey is the Democratic Party emblem; the cartoon replaces it with a mink as a label for the party (name-calling by symbol), and the argument is the cartoonist's own.
