Baghdad Pact map poster FI-M-1, 1958 US poster: A colour map of the Middle East and South Asia headed 'Muslim member nations

Baghdad Pact map poster FI-M-1 (English, Karachi)

A colour map of the Middle East and South Asia headed 'Muslim member nations of the Baghdad Pact'. Turkey, Iraq, Iran and Pakistan (both wings) are shaded dark green, the USSR and China red, and other states yellow. The slogan reads 'United with UK & USA' and 'For peace, security, economic development, social advancement. Against aggression, subversion'. The tell is bandwagon, joining the shaded states to two great powers, with glittering-generalities in the printed aims.
