A text-only single-sheet leaflet dated by its own text to 18 September, in two vertical lines of large characters. The right line marks five years since the country's founding and asks readers not to forget the friendly nation's righteous aid; the left line says the perilous state became the 'kingly way' (wangdao) through what was done on this day five years earlier. 'Kingly way' is a virtue phrase that names no measure or result.

Vertical text is read top to bottom, right column first; the small date characters (九月, 十八日) sit at the lower end of each column. The phrase 於發茲 in the right column is transcribed as printed and its sense is uncertain, so that clause of the translation is approximate. The characters 為 and 遺 are as printed. The foot lines are letter-spaced and read right to left.
