Obverse of a green five-peso note dated Chihuahua, 30 March 1914, issued in the name of the Constitutionalist Army. It carries the national emblem of an eagle on a cactus before the two volcanoes and a round seal reading 'Ejército Constitucionalista de México, Primer Jefe'. The tell is the borrowed national symbolism: a revolutionary army's paper money wears the state's own emblem.

The small centre line ('que la Tesorería recibirá y pagará ...') is blurred in the scan; its reading is supported by the sharper reverse wording of the same note ('circulará de acuerdo con el decreto de 12 de febrero de 1914') but is not certain word for word. Obverse only.
