Fragments of the Abydos king list from Ramesses II's temple, in the British Museum: rows of royal cartouches
Five joined limestone fragments of a wall carved with rows of royal cartouches, each under a title sign, with red paint surviving. The names are of earlier kings chosen for an offering ritual at Abydos; the selection leaves out several rulers, among them Hatshepsut and the kings of the Amarna period.
