Don't Shiver Next Winter... Order Coal Now!
Home-front fuel poster: a penguin in a knitted cap and red scarf sits on an ice floe in a snowstorm holding a coal shovel, under the headline 'Don't Shiver next Winter...' and the instruction 'Order Coal NOW!' on a blue band. The discomfort of a cold winter is the fear-appeal, shown through a cartoon animal rather than a person.
