Content note: Republican Spanish poster showing the Nationalist commander as a skull in German uniform with a swastika, shown as published. This object is shown as it was published. Why
El Generalísimo (UGT Sindicato Profesional de Bellas Artes poster)
Colour poster of a giant figure with a skull for a face under a spiked helmet, in a grey greatcoat with a white swastika, over the title 'el generalisimo'; three small rosy-cheeked figures, an officer, a man in a suit and a priest, carry the end of his long red cape. The tell: the opposing commander is drawn as Death in German uniform served by army, money and church, which asserts who he works for in one picture instead of arguing it.
