For Home and Country Invest in War Bonds
War bond poster: a red disc holds seven small photographs of civilian life (a house, a kitchen, a couple at breakfast, a bathroom, graduates, a couple at a ship's rail, a woman at a refrigerator). The text asks viewers to invest in War Bonds 'to provide Future Health and Happiness'. The tell is the pairing of abstract goods with domestic images, so bond-buying is tied to private comfort.
