Free World Pictorial poster: Lincoln 150th anniversary supplement (Chinese poster distributed in Taipei)
A Chinese-language illustrated supplement of the pictorial Free World for the 150th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birth. A large portrait is captioned 'Lincoln, symbol of free people', and smaller pictures with captions run through his life: birth in a log cabin, frontier youth, the Senate campaign, the White House, the Civil War, the Emancipation Proclamation and the Gettysburg Address. The tell is glittering-generalities ('freedom', 'equality') with transfer: Lincoln's standing is attached to the 'free world' masthead.
