This Is Greece, One of the United Nations
A sheet headed 'this is GREECE' with sections 'the people', 'their work' and 'the country', photographs of harvests, villages, ports and a war-damaged street in Kastoria, a statistics panel and a history text running from Ancient Greece to the Italian attack of 28 October 1940. The tell for glittering-generalities is the virtue language ('freedom-loving people over dictatorship', 'a great ideal for other men to follow'); card-stacking shows in a history that stresses Greek achievements and wartime role and omits unfavourable facts.
