"I want my daddy back" Buy bonds "Remember Pearl Harbor!"
War bond poster: a girl in pajamas holds a doll in front of a Marine firing a machine gun, with the words 'I want my daddy back' above and 'BUY BONDS' below. The child's loss and the Pearl Harbor slogan tie bond-buying to the danger to her father, an emotional fear-appeal.
