Linoleum needs this special care, help make these floors last!
Army conservation instruction sheet: the word 'Linoleum' in large white capitals over a mottled brown-and-orange ground, with a numbered panel of five floor-care steps and the line 'Help make these floors last!'. It is a practical how-to notice for those looking after Army floors; the technique is faint here, and the plain, everyday instruction style is the nearest fit (plain-folks).

Text on the object
LINOLEUM needs this SPECIAL care 1. Sweep daily with soft hair brush to remove dust and grit. Never Use Sweeping Compounds unless specially supplied for linoleum. 2. Clean up mud and stains promptly with cloth or mop dampened with a solution of water and a little Mild white "G.I." soap. No Lye or Harsh Soap Should Ever Be Used. 3. Wipe the washed area immediately with cloth dampened in clear water, and allow to dry. 4. Then wax with thin coat of wax. Polishing is not necessary unless a high lustre is desired. 5.
