Order it now! Store Fuel for Next Winter
A close drawn portrait of a smiling coal-bearer, a sack of coal on his shoulder, looks straight at the viewer above the instruction 'Order it now! Store fuel for next winter'. The plain-folks device is the ordinary working man delivering the message in a friendly, personal pose; the appeal is for households to order coal early.
