Content note: Soviet poster with grotesque green-skinned caricatures of a capitalist and a Social Democrat officer being trampled. This object is shown as it was published. Why
Proletarians of All Countries, Unite! (XII years of October)
A red-clad worker with a rifle and a flaming 'Comintern' banner strides over two toppled figures, a top-hatted capitalist on a bulging moneybag and a helmeted officer wearing an 'S-D' badge, against a skyline of smoking factories lettered 'USSR' and a seal reading 'XII years of October'. The opponents are drawn as grotesque, green-skinned types and the title is the call to unite: the name-calling tell.
