SEATO poster No. 2, headquarters map (Bengali)
A Bengali-language SEATO poster. A photograph of the Bangkok headquarters is ringed by outline maps of the eight member states, joined to it by red lines. The slogan calls a joint security arrangement a stepping-stone to world peace. The tell is glittering generalities and bandwagon: world peace is the stated aim, and the radiating member maps present the alliance as a broad shared undertaking.
