Together Always: 'Agcadua nga agnanayon' (Iloko poster distributed in the Philippines)
A colour poster of two smiling, bare-chested young men with an arm around each other's shoulder: one in a bowl-shaped helmet carries a plough and yoke, the other in a steel helmet carries a rifle. The caption 'Agcadua nga agnanayon' (The two of us, forever) frames farmer and soldier as partners. The tell is glittering generalities and plain-folks: unity is shown through idealised ordinary working men and soldier, with no concrete programme named.
