Strange Echo
Two stacked panels: the UN headquarters sends out a message, '...and use atomic energy to build a peaceful world...', while from behind a walled Kremlin with onion domes, gun barrels and a hammer-and-sickle door comes the answering cry 'Warmongers!'. The cartoon argues that the Soviet reply to a peace proposal is a name-calling label and a mirror-image accusation.
