Your job is not done until ship has landed!, 1943 US poster: Two-panel comic

Your job is not done until ship has landed!

Two-panel comic: navigator Gooney checks his watch and packs up his report five minutes before landing, then stands tiny and shrunken among crewmen who glare down at him after the estimated time of arrival passes with clouds over the field. The technique is a fear-appeal of ridicule: the oversight is shown as public shaming by his crew.
