Buy Victory Bonds (woman reading 'Canadians Move Forward' newspaper, artist Ron White)
A woman in a plum-coloured coat reads a newspaper extra headed 'Canadians move forward', while three faces of a soldier, a helmeted infantryman and a sailor loom in the dark sky above her, over the words 'Buy Victory Bonds'. The tell is that the servicemen's presence is attached to the reader's decision (transfer) and the bond purchase is set as the civilian answer to the war news, with no rate or term given.
