A text-only Vietnamese sheet headed 'Compatriots, ask yourselves'. Six bulleted questions ask who forces peasants to pay money and rice, robs ferries, press-gangs youths, fires on women and children, makes sons kill fathers and murders patriots, and answers each with 'the Communist traitors themselves'. A boxed closing line calls on everyone to oppose their robbing and killing. The tell is name-calling and scapegoating: one named group is made the single author of every harm.
