ĐÂY! LỐI GIẢI PHÓNG CỦA BỌN CỘNG PHỈ Trên đường An-Đôn về thị xã Quảng-Trị, chiếc xe đò mang số TVD-152 trúng mìn Việt-cộng chiều ngày 16-8-64. 4 hành khách bị chết: ÔÔ. Hoàng-Dữ 67 tuổi, Hoàng-Huê 62 tuổi, Đoàn-Ngọc 40 tuổi, Đoàn-Đơn 50 tuổi. 3 người khác bị trọng thương gồm tài xế và 1 bà hành khách. Thi thể nạn nhân của Việt-cộng nằm tại nhà xác bệnh viện Quảng-Trị PHẢN ỨNG CỦA ĐỒNG BÀO ĐỊA PHƯƠNG, XÃ TRIỆU-THƯỢNG Đồng bào xã Triệu-Thượng cùng Đại diện Nghiệp đoàn Vận tải Quảng-Trị họp mét-tinh sáng ngày 18-8-64 lên án hành động man rợ của Việt-cộng. Tuyên đọc bản quyết nghị tỏ rõ thái độ của các đoàn thể dân chúng trước hành động côn đồ Cộng phỉ và thỉnh cầu Chính Phủ xử tử bọn Việt-cộng ác ôn và tay sai nằm vùng. THIS! THE LIBERATION WAY OF THE COMMUNIST BANDITS On the road from An-Don to Quang-Tri town, bus number TVD-152 hit a Viet Cong mine on the afternoon of 16-8-64. 4 passengers were killed: Messrs. Hoang-Du, 67 years old, Hoang-Hue, 62, Doan-Ngoc, 40, Doan-Don, 50. 3 other people were gravely wounded, including the driver and 1 woman passenger. The bodies of the Viet Cong's victims lie in the Quang-Tri hospital mortuary REACTION OF THE LOCAL COMPATRIOTS, TRIEU-THUONG VILLAGE The people of Trieu-Thuong village together with representatives of the Quang-Tri Transport Union held a rally on the morning of 18-8-64 condemning the barbaric act of the Viet Cong. Reading out the resolution that makes plain the attitude of the people's organisations toward the thuggish act of the Communist bandits and petitions the Government to execute the vicious Viet Cong and their sleeper agents. The Quang-Tri province chief accepts the resolution and calls on all circles to actively wipe out the Communists and save the homeland. Read from enlarged crops of the 1280 px image; the captions are clear. 'ÔÔ.' is printed as shown and abbreviates 'Ông' (Mr.) in the plural. The text on the protest banners inside the photographs is partly out of focus and is given only in part.
