Content note: Swastika and cross displayed together on a church-election banner, with uniformed SA men and a child collecting money. This object is shown as it was published. Why
Wählt Liste 1 Deutsche Christen (church-election banner, Berlin)
Outside a Berlin church on the day of the Protestant church elections, a banner above the door reads 'Wählt Liste 1 Deutsche Christen', set between a swastika and a cross. Uniformed men and a boy in uniform with collection tins hold signs urging a vote for the same list while voters queue. The swastika and cross sit side by side as equals, so the party symbol borrows the church's authority.

Wählt Liste 1 Deutsche Christen Wählt Liste Deutsche Christen! [small notice on the church door, illegible]
Vote List 1 German Christians Vote List German Christians! [small notice on the church door, illegible]
The banner and the hand-held sign are legible. A small printed notice on the left church door is too small to read.
