Don't transfer now! Stick to your job, 1941 US poster: Labor-retention poster

Don't transfer now! Stick to your job

Labor-retention poster: a helmeted infantryman with fixed bayonet advances toward the viewer, two more soldiers behind him, shell bursts overhead. The headline asks war workers not to change jobs. The technique is transfer, borrowing the soldier's front-line standing for a factory worker's choice to stay put.
