Epikaira Illustrated monthly poster, No. 95 (Greek, Athens, June 1957)
A Greek-language photo-news sheet, the June 1957 issue (95) of the monthly 'Epikaira Eikonografimena', laid out as a grid of captioned photographs. Items include the Greek king receiving an award, a rocket launch for the International Geophysical Year, a West German chancellor's U.S. visit and a Memorial Day ceremony in Thessaloniki. The tell is card-stacking: the sheet gives only items favourable to the United States and its Greek and NATO partners, and it transfers the standing of allies and ceremonies onto U.S. policy.
