Puna-armeijalainen: Katso! Minne sinua työntää Stalinin verinen käsi? (Red Army soldier: Look! Where Is Stalin's Bloody Hand Pushing You?): Finnish-language leaflet text

A typewritten Finnish-language leaflet text addressed to 'Red Army soldier'. It asks where 'Stalin's bloody hand' is pushing him and answers 'certainly to death', cites one figure (more than 600,000 dead and wounded in the previous war with Finland) without a source or a counterpart figure, calls the Soviet government 'criminal', and ends 'Think about this and act!' above a note about one named dead soldier from the Poltava area.

PUNA-ARMEIJALAINEN:

KATSO:

Minne sinua työntää Stalinin verinen käsi?

Varmaan kuolemaan!

On turhaa vuodattaa verta täällä pohjolassa. Tuotat enemmän hyötyä maallesi, perheellesi ja itsellesi, jos viipymättä lähdet vieraalta maalta, jota hallituksesi rikollisella tavalla ryösti pieneltä, rauhaa rakastavalta Suomelta.

AJATTELE TÄTÄ PÄÄTÄ JA TOIMI!

Sivulla kuvan alla: Tishtschenko, Grigorij Stepanovitsch (Pultavan alueelta) Yksi niistä monista sadoistatuhansista, jotka sortuivat viime sodassa.

RED ARMY SOLDIER:

LOOK:

Where is Stalin's bloody hand pushing you?

Certainly to death!

In the previous war fought with Finland, more than 600,000 innocent warriors fell, dead and wounded. For what? For the sake of seizing a small piece of land, the Karelian Isthmus.

Now you have again been driven to war to defend this piece of land, when Finland lawfully demands its return. Again, hundreds of thousands of innocent warriors will fall in a senseless war. For what? For the sake of a foreign piece of land?!

DO NOT STAY WAITING FOR SUCH A FATE!

The day is approaching when Russia will be freed for all time from Stalin's criminal power. The guarantee of this is the German army's successful liberation campaign in the southern direction.

It is pointless to shed blood here in the north. You will bring more benefit to your country, your family and yourself if you leave without delay the foreign land which your government robbed in a criminal manner from small, peace-loving Finland.

THINK ABOUT THIS END AND ACT!

On the page under the picture: Tishtschenko, Grigorij Stepanovitsch (from the Poltava area). One of the many hundreds of thousands who fell in the last war.

Read from the 961 x 1200 px copy by Claude; the typescript is faded in places ('viipym ttä' reads as 'viipymättä', 'satoj tuhansia' as 'satojatuhansia', 'soturcita' as 'sotureita'). 'Tämän takaa' is as typed. The words 'Sivulla kuvan alla' refer to a picture on another page that is not in this photograph. Translation is machine translation by Claude, not fluent-reader verified.
