La Journée Serbe, 25 juin 1916 (Charles Fouqueray)
Lithograph of Serbian soldiers and civilians, an ox cart and a banner crossing a snowy bridge in retreat, above 'La Journée Serbe, 25 juin 1916, Anniversaire de la bataille de Kossovo'. The tell is the date: the remembered 1389 battle is attached to the 1915 retreat to raise relief funds, with the suffering shown in place of any request detail.
