Heraldo Grafico poster, September 1964 (Spanish poster distributed in San Salvador)
A blue-and-white Spanish-language wall newspaper of the U.S. Embassy in El Salvador, with a September 1964 calendar. Photographs report an Organization of American States meeting on sanctions against Cuba, a new rural health unit in Perquin, and a self-help housing programme, each linked to the Alliance for Progress. The tell is card-stacking: only favourable programme news is selected, and the embassy's name and the Alliance emblem lend each item the programme's standing.
